Our selection of Media Streamers

A NAS, or Network Attached Storage is storage (generally a Hard Disk Drive / HDD) that is usually physically attached to your Router. This makes it storage that anyone connected to your network both wired or wirelessly can access.

Due to their very low power consumption and quite nature, another benefit of a NAS is the fact that they can be left on 24/7. This means any time users can access this storage and make the most of whatever the content may be.

Music and movies are a great example for why a NAS may make sense in your home. Pretty much all manufacturers feature a form of Media Serving Software. This means if you have a bluray player, TV, music streaming device or even a tablet etc, these can all stream media over the network from this device.

Almost all NAS devices also feature data redundancy, meaning they make perfect backup solutions. When a drive fails, the NAS will tell you to replace it, allowing your data to remain safe.
